HI!!! Today is the second day of our trip in Greece. The journey here was quite long. At one of the train stations in Italy we made a Canadian friend, named Will who we hung out with on the long ferry ride to Greece. We almost went to the island of Corfu together, but we decided to stick to our plans and go to Athens instead. The first day here we spent some time trying to find a cheap hotel, since we didn't make any reservations in advance. We are at the Pella Inn for 40 euros a night. The room includes: air conditioning, a sink, and a balcony with view of the Acropolis. Today we saw the Acroplis. The views of the city were spectacular and the pagan temples were awesome. Tomorrow we are off to Santorini, a beautiful Greek island. We are having trouble downloading all the pictures, so we are only going to download a few at a time. The pictures will be posted chronologically so, they will be of the beginning of our trip until we can get more caught up with our picture posting. Love, Nate and Kristina P.S. We have witnessed some pretty disgusting behavior towards women.
