Hiya!! Well I suppose I'd better tell you all about the South Island then hadn't I??!! There's been many highlights!! We started off with a six hour walk in Abel Tasman national park, it was lovely... till it started bucketing down with rain, ha ha!! Following that we headed down the West coast. We went Glacier hiking on Fox Glacier and it was awesome!! Really really enjoyed it, we felt really hardcore cos we had to wear crampons and everything!! (Crampons, ha ha, giggle everytime I hear it!!)

After that we headed to Queenstown which was amazing!! Really cool town, just a really nice vibe there, its full of travellers so it's really good fun!! We went out to World Bar and were served cocktails out of teapots!! BArn, Rick and Moore did the Nevis Bunjy there!! (Nic and I went for lunch instead, ha ha!!) Brave things!! Nic and I had a day skiiing while we were there, that was BRILLIANT!! I'm practically a pro now!! ha ha...ok not quite...but I definately learned a lot!!

After Queenstown we headed to Te Anau. We had to spend a day there in the soaking rain because the road to Milford Sound was closed due to bad weather, All was not lost though, we found a pub where they did amazing hot chocolates and had Corrie on the telly!! We played fish fruit and flower there. We also made our Monopoly "bored" (pun intended) whilst there too!! ha ha!!

When we finally did get to Milford Sound it was gorgeous!! The drive along the road was amazing in itself. Lake Gunn had an amazing reflection of the mountains in it!! The bat trip was cool too, we saw Mitre Peak (the postcard image of Milford Sound) and dolphins and seals too!!

On the way back up we saw Mount Cook, then headed back up via Hot Springs (mmm, lovely!!), Kaikoura (where we began a war with the seagulls!!) and Christchurch (where we finally got Donde's BBQ stuff out!!) to the North Island where I am now!! Went Zorbing today in Roturua, so much fun (will get the piccy's of that up when I have more time!!) and heading to Aukland tonight!!
