Our new Australian friends picked us up and took us on a tour of the surroundings and points of interest in surfers paradise. We went to North Burleigh point and saw the whole of surfers skyline, as well as elephant rock and the 'ghetto'

Chilled by the pool at our hostel for a couple of hours catching some rays! Met some Australian guys the night before that promised to take us surfing at Byron Beach! Such a good sport had so much fun down there- apart from the fact that I lost my board and ended up underneath it in the Sea. Also the water was so salty my eyes were stinging. Chilled back at the hostel and played pool with our new pals and then packed up ready for surfers paradise tomorrow!

8am- got excited about peanut butter on toast with a cup of English breakfast tea (Defo already missing the tea back home! Wasn't the same)! 9am- got picked up to go kayaking with dolphins this morning but the weather was awful!! Torrential rain started at about 3am with lightning lighting up the whole room. I remember waking up and saying to steph to put the phones on the floor Incase the Lightning struck our beds! Don't ask

7:30am- up early to get ready for the 3 and a half hour bridge climb this morning!!! Hope the weather isn't too windy. 8:30am- hopped on the bus to Bondi junction this morning and managed to catch rush hour! Got to Bondi junction for 8:40am leaving us 20 minutes to get to Sydney harbour bridge. 10:30- managed to sleep later than normal FINALLY!! Went to travel backpackers and finalised the rest of the east coast- so thrilled to be staying in 8 dorm shares... NOT!! All part of the experience though!! 11am- Went for a stroll around Hall Street and Curlewis Street looking for something cheap and cheerful to eat. Came across Dan Conn's gym- may go there for a training session on Thursday! Did a small shop to save money on food and went back to the hostel. ...
