Hello! for the last time!

How crazy is that! its already time for me to write my last blog and get me on a plane home!

Well i think i havent actually wrote a blog since arequipa which is quite bad as ive been to 3 places since then! From arequipa we took a bus to nasca where we saw the nasca lines. i took the optional flight over the lines in a tiny tiny plane. It was so small a crazy looking and the pilot kept swinging it around all over the place so that people could see out of both sides which was good but made me feel really sick! the lines were very cool to see (i dont know how good the photos will turn out as they are quite faint and i was more worried about puking in my lap than taking good photos lol!) This hotel actually had a pool too but it was outside and a tad chilly but we are from england and finland so we went in obviously!

After nasca we headed for pisco but stopped in ica on the way first at an oasis which was very pretty and we had a nice lunch at a hotel with another pool that we dipped our feet in! we then took a little tour around a winery where they make pisco liquer and wine which we got to taste at the end! their version of a pisco baileys was sooooo good! and their chockys were really good too! Then we got to pisco which was actually a bit of a weird time as they are stil really suffering from the earth quake that happened 3 years ago although the town looks like it happened 6 months ago! the view from the hotel roof just gives you rubble covered streets and not one finished building in site! Because of this there is alot of unstability and unemployement so it did feel a little unsafe walking around and everyone everywhere we went just stared at us but we were only there for one evening. Apparently there was some kind of strike or protest a few days before we got there because the government had apparently promised more help and money but obviously from the state of it that hasnt happened yet!

Next was our last stop Lima, the capitol of peru which was a drastic change from pisco and is a big ol city! its quite smoggy and most people dont really like it for more than a day or two which i can see why as once youve explored it for about 2 days youve seen everything and then have nothing to do! kelly and Oli left the day we got to lima and Mikko and Piia left on saturday so at least i hung out with them for a few days and saw all of the sights. central lima is actually quite nice and we saw what we think might have been the president outside his big official house thing as there were crowds outside and papparazzi about. We also saw a peruvian tv star being crowded around by tv crews and loads of people but obviously we didnt know who she was! The other day we went out of lima to see some ruins about 40 mins away which were cool to see and our guide told us some good stories about the different peoples that lived there over the years. After mikko and piia left on saturday i had to meet up with our guide guido who was starting another tour that night and give him some money and he invited me out with his new tour which was cool and so we went for a meal and to some bars afterwards which was fun! Yesterday i went to the cinema too to kill a few hours and saw public enemy with johnny depp which is really good and today im just going to chill around at the hostel before getting my transfer for the airport at 4.30pm!

So i guess this is it! im going to get to the airport and fly at 8pm my time (2am yours) and im going to be cheeky and ask if i can get upgraded as im a lone traveller and apprently sometimes they let you do that if they have space and its my last flight so my last chance to see if it works! il arrive in madrid at 2.30 pm tomorrow madrid time and then catch a flight to london arriving at 5.50pm! and then meet the famo and drive back to brum! So i hope youve enjoyed reading about my little adventure and anyone thinking about doing some travelling even if not for lone DO IT!!!!! this has definitely been the best thing ive ever done and ive seen some of the most amazing places in the worls and made some great friends along the way! (i know thats so cliched and cheesy but its true and has to be said!!!!) Im sad to be ending my travels but at the same time glad that il be able to see all my friends and family and start uni in a few weeks which im uber excited about!!!!!!! so cheers for reading and thankyou loads for all of your messages and emails keeping me updated on whats happening and often making me laugh a lot out loud in public places like a mad woman! im going to try and upload my last load of pics too but will have to switch computers as this one seems to have the half where the usb ports is missing! i dont know how its working but hey!

(theres going to be a coming home do thing at my housey on saturday from midday till late so pop in if you can or text, call or facebook me to meet up etc!) (oh and my emails still broken so dont email me lol well technically its not broken im just an eediot and cant get past my own secret question! lol)
