Hi everyone so we are now in Hong Kong arrived here on Tuesday 16th of august. After stopping off over night in singapore where we got the chance to meet up with fiona which was great really nice to see her it been ages. She took us out sight seeing and we went to raffle to have the famous singapore sling very nice. and a drink along the river a very good stop over!!!

We got some other news when we were at the airport Sandy is going to come and join us in Thailand which is great cant wait to see her. Really looking forward to Thailand now!!!

So Hong kong We are staying in a very nice hotel complete with swiming pool on the roof!!! The first day we spent trying to sort out our china visa took us hours to find an internet cafe and printer to print travel details for china which you need for the visa, but in the end we did and should hopefully get it on monday fingers crossed as we have booked a train to china for tuesday!!!!

The nest day we meet up with Daniel the guy we met in India and he takes on a sight seeing trip (he is our Umed!!!) on a ferry over to Hong Kong island and then a bus to Stanely where we see a very different Hong Kong before this it has been all sky scrapers then you drive though a mountain and then there are more mountains and beaches it is very pretty it is like you are somewhere else. We had lunch by the sea and wandered around Stanely market i love it! It has air con!!!!

We meet up that night and take the ferry over again and see some of the light show i have to say the colours on all of the buildings is amazing it looks great and Daniel says at christmas they all put up christmas lights it must look amazing would like to see that but as we are only staying 7 nights i dont think i will!!!!! We went out to a irish bar my first one since i have left Germany!!! But it was not an Oriellys!!! But it had nice food, we then went to Dusk to Dawn another bar where they had really good live music did a bit of dancing well we all did it was a really good night out had a lot of fun it was worth losing my voice over!!!! I still dont have it back and now it is two days after!!! That will teach me to sing along!!!

Today we have been sight seeing went up Victoria peak in the peak tram a bit steep to walk!! Great views of hong kong and lucky for us it was the clearest day since we have got here so even better views when Jas went up it was raining and they could not see anything!!!!

We tired to go to the cinema tonight we found the first cimena easy enough but no good shows on and we could not find the other one which is why we are here!!!! Well got to go time is running out on the computer so goodnight!!!!

The next day we chill by the pool in the morning well first i do 100 lenghts Sandra had done hers while i was still in bed!! But it is so hot i dont stay up there long. In the afternoon we meet up with Daniel again who has been partying most of the time since we last saw him!! We go to Stanley again and spent a lazy sunday afternoon there we have very yummy fish and chips by the sea washed down by a nice glass of pimms. What could be better, we have a few more drinks there people watching and me trying to write my postcards get most of them done in the end. We then deceide we have to go party again at Dusk to dawn so go back and get ready and head out there again. Another fun night was had there. I really like this bar the music was really good again．
