Last weekend, we went on a hiking trip to the mountains, where I was reminded of how difficult it is to walk straight uphill for an hour. We arrived after a very windy bus ride in the little town of Pampaneira, in the Alpujarras region of the Sierra Nevada, outside of Granada. Two pretty awesome firsts this week: met my intercambio and watched my first futbol game. The intercambio program that CEGRI offers allows us to meet up with local Granadians (some students, some not) to practice Spanish, while also helping them with English.
