Aloha Chris! Its been years since I've seen you! I was visiting Marin and saw Patti so I got this site to check out your travells. Its great seeing all those pictures from down there and also the pictures of Alreca, Sujan, Dan, Mira etc.. I miss all those faces of the bay area! It looks so amazing down there. Puerta Escondido and the volcanos ..... wow. Life's pretty great here on Kauai. I have been here for almost four years but it feels more like ten. Maybe time moves slower here. I work on 65 foot catamarans as a crew member and life guard. Its gorgeous coast here (the Napali coast) I see dolphins, Hawaiian monk seals, turtles, and sometimes we catch some fresh fish too.... YUMMY. Sage my son is 6 years old, going into first grade and such a character--he's really funny and so full of love. He is really smart loves to read and to swim. I'm engaged to a great guy named Shannon Rasmussen. He is originally from Paradise (Chico area) and has been living here for about 9 years. We met when we were both working at the botanical gardens. He is a wonderful father to Sage. We will get married in end of May 2006 in a big gazebo at Dominican in San Rafael. We rent a nice two bedroom on a resivour with fruit trees and we have veggi/herb gardens and hens that lay eggs. just got a duckling too. We hope to stay here for a long time and buy a house. Hi FLoss and all others who look here.... Great photos - looks like the book is coming along as well as your tan. Nakita never looked so happy...we all need to take life as seriously as she does. :-) Well the kids are still doing great, and we are going to take them to San Geronimo Friday and then Saturday to the Discovery museum. Oh wanted to tell you, Alyssa has an amazing kick with her left foot - dead accurate and swift, every time. So I'm putting her into soccer this fall! I figured out what the "se habla" thing is -- she's saying "say abra" meaning, say "open" --- she picked it up from Dora the Explorer. Anyone with kids under age 4 not living under a rock knows who that is, at least here in the states. Not missing a thing by not having television. She picks up stuff anyway. Hey my birthday was on the 28th...seems you were having an adventurous day.
I had a phychology test at UC Berkeley that night and I went to school that morning so of course i did not get to celebrate............
