Trancoso is a little paradise (where you'll get bored after three days for sure !) with white sandy beaches, cute little shops, beautiful pousadas and hotels. 

Definitely not for the poor, Trancoso is marketed at upper class Brazilians, many of them flying from Porto Seguro airport to Trancoso in helicopters...

As we don't have that kind of finances, we took the "balsa" to Arraial and then a van to Trancoso. We just spent 36 hours there but it was well worth it !
