We were all on the coach before 8am and set off to climb a hill that has fantastic views of the surrounding area. It was worth the effort of thr climb. I walked to the summit with 2 American girls Roshni and Caroline. We continued driving through the Coromandel area. We arrived in our next location, Raglan. It seems a nice place with a beautiful rugged coastline and long beaches. The weather was drizzly and wet. There is a hairdresser in the town and I really need my haircut. Our hostel was quite far from the town out in the bush. It's a nice place with a sauna, flying fox slide, activity trail, and a balcony overlooking the sea. We were driven into Raglan (people that didn't pay the outrageous price for 3 hour surf lesson) and I went to both hairdressers; they were shut! We then went to a fish and chip shop and had fish and chips. The fish was tiny and I mean tiny! i think it was called gurnura or something but it was maybe 3 inches long. I had kumura chips and they tasted ok but you got sick of them and they put so much salt on their chips!! Later we sat on the balcony drinking watching the torrential rain pour down. We played pool and then went to bed.
