Travel day with periwinkle and I splitting Riogimorre like a banana splits at Dairy Queen .. we gone with our train departing at 7:20am for la spezia, then catch a train to Milan, and then to Brig, Switzerland. There, we need to catch a local train which weaves in and around mountain ranches before arriving at Zermatt.

We befriended our "ticket please " lady who became our personal guide pointing out glaciers, swinging bridges, mountain ranges and landslides to name a few. In addition to pointing out a 1/2 price deal we can get when we go atop a mountain restaurant for our anniversary. Yep Daddy got game.

Upon arrival we find the Main Street and it is amazing here. They only allow electric vehicles, and bicycles in town so it's quite lovely. We decided to drop our bags our bags off at our villa before supper. Okay, follow instructions, turn right, left, OMG we are going up another friggin mountain....we keep going up and around a corner, hey that's what a church steeple looks like when you're above it....keep going. What the hell, goats are mocking us because they're below us. Dripping sweat, exhausted, we get into our villas,...okay all is forgiven, our hosts left us a bottle of champagne and some Swiss chocolate....

I check to make sure our adapters would work here and oh no, not the right one....okay Dom, into town we gotta go.....down the mountain and we go to a supermarket where I can only buy a complete kit for 50 Swiss franks.....a quick supper which was delicious, some grocery shoppping and back up the mountain....OMG my legs are burning. I'm in the suite...I fall to the ground exhausted and suddenly I see a cat.......WTH, I died and my life is flashing before my eyes and apparently a grey cat was a big part of my life. I open my eyes wider in hopes that my life flashes would be better than a cat, but there he is staring at us through the window...Dom being two thirds on her way to the "crazy cat lady" designation lets it in....it comes right in and flops down......heck are we being stalked by cats?

Anyway who knows what tomorrow will bring
