Been in moscow for a couple of days now , when i first got here it was just like last time with massive run down flats evrywhere . When i first stepped of the train , i nearly froze to death even though , it was only minus 14 !!

Hostels been good , basic but right in the middle of moscow , so it's been easy to get to everywhere . Been round all the tourist sights Red Square , Kremlyn , St Peters and a few other parks and attractions around the city . By far and away the best thing i've seen was while walking down an underpass to get to the metro , there were five men playing the violin , they played some amazing songs , and were unbelieve , i watched them for nearly an hour , as did evreyone else who walked past . It's was like being at an opera , in an underpass

You actually get used to it being so cold , it hasn't been warmer than minus 10 since i've been here , and it's been minus 20 today . Been out a few times around near the hostel had a good night at moo - moo you got two shots of vodka for a pound , which is all ways a bonus , rounded the night off by prank phone calling random russian phone numbers . Very childish but very very funny .

Just waiting to go and get the train to Irkutsk leaves at 23.30 about 20.00 back home . just a short trip it only takes 77 hours , but the ticket only cost 42 pounds !!! i think i might be travelling with the chickens and the goats . Should get there about 9am local time on the 15th , with should be 1am back home as i'll be 8 hours in front .

Haven't had chance to get any pictures on yet i'll do it when i get to Irkutsk .
