This morning we woke up at 8.30 and were heading to Versailles for the day. We arrived at Versailles at about 10.00. Versailles was absolutely massive, extremely huge garden and a very big castle. The garden was so big that having to walk all around it all day was such a killer that my legs are actually sore now. Firstly we went for the tour inside the castle room by room, each holding them own significance. There was a room which was massive, whkhc was covered in mirrors on both sides. It was commonly used for ballroom dancing. After this we went into the garden. As got in a golf car to do most of the looking around the garden as the walking everywhere would've been too much. Lots of fun. We stopped atvthe restaurant in the garden and had lunch there and then continued walking
around the garden. As walked for ages, and it felt never ending. We got lost a few days so if was extra walking.... Not good. We didn't leave until 4.30. Along with my cold, by the end of the day I was exhausted so slept in the car until we got back to our nex hotel. We chilled at the hotel for a bit before going out for dinner. Yummy fish and chips. Then we went home and Aurelle and I were so exhausted we went to sleep relatively early. (Well compared to other nights!!) This is all so exciting, can't believe I'm doing all this! PARIS again tomorrow!
