Hello all.

Is emma writing from Bangkok. We are still here at the moment as we are waiting for our visa for Vietnam to be sorted and due to it being the weekedn we are unable to get it sorted until monday.

The journey over here was long and tiring due to the stop off in Mumbai - but we did get to see some of mumbais slums as we came in to land which was interesting!

Lily WASNT sick once, so she did well. She wasnt feeling too good on the take off from mumbai. As we were coming in to land in Bangkok it was pouring down with rain and there was a massive thunder and lighting storm- i was so scared it was going to strike the plane!

Luckily the rain had stopped by the time we gopt out. Once we got to the hotel we went straight out and got some lush food off the street stalls, and we met some other foriegn travellers who we talked to for ages.

We had bed and breakfast with our hotel and i had some thai chicken stir fry, lily and ben had some croissants but I thought when in rome...!

We have been to see some amazing temples and the kings palace. We have been to china town and have got some tuk tuks around the city - funny and kinda scary as they drive like lunatics! We are going to the floating market tomorrow and have booked a bus to Siem Riep in Cambodia to see angkor wat on Tues morning and it only costs about a fiver!

I will definately be spending my birthday somewhere in Vietnam, so if I dont update this before then think of me on some vietnamese beach in the sunshine - its a hard life!! Ben and lily are going to plan something for me!
