I woke up this morning thinking it was 8.55 am and we had all had a great sleep in then I discovered I'd set the microwave clock incorrectly and hadn't used a 24 hour clock so it was actually 6.55 as the clock was reading 18.55 - I really need my eye sight checking!! Instead of feeling well rested I suddenly felt exhausted and climbed back into bed with the dog who was ready to play and that meant no more sleep! It was still freezing outside because of the wind so we spent the morning inside the van with the heating on while we had breakfast and did school work. After an early lunch I took the kids to a fantastic indoor swimming pool for the afternoon while Nick stayed at home and looked after the dog. The kids were excited to have a swim and I was excited to have them submerged in water for an hour. By the time we got out they were the cleanest they have been in months!! On the way home we called into the shopping centre next door and picked up some donuts for afternoon tea then went back and had a coffee with Nick. We took the dog for a short walk while the kids played with Lego and then made a roast lamb for dinner that was sensational! While we were cleaning up some kids from the van next door came over and asked ours to play, so that was the last we saw of the boys or Anna until it was bedtime! I scored some more work today and so spent the evening working, which will hopefully cover the next vet bill!!!
