We have decided to extend our stay in Amsterdam, by two more days. Imagine that. Actually we didn't have the next couple of days planned like we thought we would. We had all wanted to go to Munich and visit the concentration camps, but it turns out that the train ride from Amsterdam to Munich is over 7 hours! and to get from Amsterdam to Dortmund Germany, where the RHCP concert is on Monday, is only 3 hours away. You will be happy to know however, that tonight we will be getting out of the City and going to a "Beach Hostel". We are all very excited and hopefully are able to catch some rays! Its pretty nice here during the daytime (weather wise) but gets pretty chilly at night. Most of us didn't plan on being in cold weather so we ended up having to buy some sweatshirts and jackets while here. We also were able to do Laundry yesterday for the first time, which was really nice, since most of us wore the same 1 or 2 outfits for the first week, and were starting to get stinky! Yesterday was pretty laidback day. We had plans to go to the Anne Frank house but just kept hearing from everyone how big of a rip off it was, 10€ for the tour of her books printed in every language, and a room that either looked like where she lived or has a window that looks onto where she lived (?) whatever the case, it seems like everyone goes there because its one of the only main attractions to see while here, but we have found alternative tourist spots. So far today we have hit up the Torture Museum, there should be some pics added of that. Very strange/interesting/discncerning. Very crude machines/torture devices, makes me hurt just thinking about it. The rest of the day we plan on either going to the Sex Museum (?) or the Amsterdam Zoo. Our shuttle leaves at 8 tonight to go to the beach hostel. Other than that we are continuing to soak in the culture, and wander around the streets. Amsterdam is basically made up of all these different "canals" each turn brings new surprises. Tom says: Im american! whut? I do what I want. Dirty says: I have no idea! Lizzy B says: Flangies are another word for fingers (she learned that at the Body exhibit) Jessy says: Im hungry (she just ate one hour ago) and I says: Word to your mutha!
