Ciao to all our buddies back home!!! We have thoroughly been enjoying our time in Italia so far! After our 14 hour overnight train from Prague to Venice, we arrived in Venice yesterday morning. Naturally, by 11 am we were on a gondola ride sipping wine and enjoying the scenery. (I couldnt really understand our tour man...but he wore stripes and was nice to look at while enjoying the chardonnay). After lunch and some tipsy shopping, we finally boarded another train to Florence where we are today. Besides losing ALL of the things that I bought shopping for friends and family on the first bus that we rode, our time here has been awesome. David, our Mexican cousin that we picked up in Prague has conitnued on with us. We camped last night and enjoyed it so much that we booked the same time of place for Roma. Although it is a campground, we are far from roughing it. We have two beds in each tent with sheets, nice showers, a bar, etc. Last night we enjoyed Absinth for the first time, and all but Tom have been feeling fine today. Well thats it for now. Take care!
