Left Kalgoorlie at 4:30am and got a few good hours of travel before stopping at Snake hill lookout (just out of Menzies) for breakfast. It was freezing cold. Travelled through to Meekathara where we stopped for lunch and then onto Newman where we spent the night in a chalet at the Newman visitors centre
