Monaco... Truly one of those places where the sights and sounds
Take your breath away and around each corner the views get better than the one before.
Our day saw us meandering through the streets taking in, of course, the key parts Of the Grand Prix track- even with an interest in car racing as low as mine, I have to admit that it was pretty cool to see the many 'hair pin bends' and 'straights' ( I'm even up on the lingo...) that feature in the famous race. Our walk took in the harbour, Port Hercules, where we ended up spending most of the day soaking up the vibe ( and the cheap red wine)... A stroll through the pens at the yacht club left our jaws on the floor... These boats are amazing... So amazing that later in the night when I was preparing to take a picture of another floating mansion, I dropped my phone... Where it now resides in the bottom of the Mediterranean... Now we have managed to get access
To the blog on the iPad, so we are back in business, albeit a couple of days behind! Probably one of our favorite places so far, Monaco was a joy to visit- definitely one of those where we wished we could stay longer... One powerball!! Missing you all lots and sending lots of love xxx
