I travelled from Uganda through Addis abbaba, Dubai, Singapole and then Port Moresby (pom) - PNG. At Addis we did not take much time at the airport as the plane was picking flyers who were already waiting. At Dubai i changed over to another plane but also with the Emmirates, i spent like 2hrs here and then at Singapole i spent about 7hrs but i was able to access free internet at the airport, take some photosand obtain the ticket to POM and waited for all those hrs and finally at about 8:30pm we set off to POM and arrived at 6am and here i was supposed to take a domestic flight to my final destination, Madang. I cleared with the immigration and i was suprised to find out that the authorities do not allow any plant materials into the country and if one had them, he was required by law to declare them or be proscuted in the coart, remember i was carrying ripe banana (Bogoya) and therefore i had to declare it and it was withdrawn from me. To be realistic i felt very sadden bse i had travelled along way with this stuff! but anyway that was it. When i got out of international terminal to go to the domestic one i experienced was hot wind moving and local men and women sitted on the ground all along the stretch to the domestic terminal. I got the ticket or pass as they commonly call it and the flight was to take off at 3pm so you can imagine staying at the airport all this time after travelling for almost 3 days BUT luckily enough i got a friend, Rodney Francis and he took around the nations capital city, Port Moresby lying at the Pacific Ocean. Great experience!
