Yesterday we headed to see Taal Volcano, this is about 3 hours from where we are staying so we got up super early. This is a live volcano so makes it little more exciting - even though last time it erupted was 30years ago haha Morgans second cousin christine and her family came along with us and his auntie and uncle.

Thank goodness it was a nice day - as we were a bit disappointed with the weather when we went to see Mount Fuji!! We were supposed to be going on a cable car ride but unfortunately it was under repair from the lightening through the night - gaaaay!!!!

Instead we went on a cable cart which went down instead of up haha - it was well steep - really nice view. This cart was in highlands country house in Tagaytay (was a golf and country club) We decided to have a bite to eat and ordered 2 pizzas thinking they would be 'normal' size - we were all wrong - they were MASSIVE had to take some home haha

After this we wanted to go over the lake to actually see the volcano - as we were driving through the hills there were sooo many touts with signs saying 'boat rides to Taal Volcano' we were just driving past most of these until about 6 people crowded the car and asked us to follow them, after Morgans uncle debated quite a bit with them we decided to follow them as they had given us a cheaper deal.

We saw the boat we would be getting on - it was crazy :) to get on it we had to balance on a plank of wood - Proper old school!! When we were on it we got soaked haha took us about 20 minutes to get to the other side - we seemed to be really close to the volcano!!!

We reached the other side and as soon as we got off the boat people ran up to us trying to sell us hats and water - once we got through them, the people were trying to over charge us for everything - and they were over crowding us (quite intimidating) so we decided not to walk up the volcano as it was proving more hassel and would be getting dark soon - was a bit gay but we got some cool pictures and the boat ride was awesome.

We realised we did get a cheaper deal when we got back as the next 2 customers payed well over double what we paid, Morgans Auntie (she stayed behind with christine and one of her children) was asked to keep quite and not tell them!!!!
