Wen to the folk architecture museum this morning. Simon had great fun looking at all the wooden houses commenting on the joints and explaining what he would and wouldn't do if he was building them. Heroyam slava! We have found a Ukranian resistance themed restaurant for tonight an had to do a secret nod, give a password and drink some special vodka to prove that we were not Russians to get in. After all that we took the secret passage behind the bookcase to get down to the bar to order our food. This place is amazing! Saturday is the day to be married! Everywhere we went today we saw brides in marshmallow style dresses taking numerous pictures at various locations around the city, Huge wedding cars decorated with bows and wedding parties with all the women managing to navigate the cobbled streets in scarily high heels. It was rather odd!

We have arrived in the Ukraine at half 8 local time after a ridiculously long and sweaty coach journey. Luckily it only took us three hours to cross the border. Lviv is very beautiful and not spoilt by tourism or over globalisation. Just need to be wary when you step into the bathrooms, they are even more fond of their holes in the ground than the french! I am particularly looking forward to exploring the churches and seeing the more eastern style of building.
