One of friendliest places I have ever visited. As tourist of Jamestown and guest at the Frontier Fort RV Park, Dan and I enjoyed a leisurely walk through Jamestown's Frontier Village (free to enter). There they had a pair of albino buffalo but because of their sensitivity to light they kept hidden under the trees. They also had a small herd of buffalo behind the museum (also free to enter). It was well worth the time to see a glimpse of time long gone and the history of Jamestown. We were entranced by a local volunteer telling story after story about the area, then and now. The museum was filled with old relics, clothing, art, pictures and stories of past; each of the buildings was sponsored and supported by local volunteers - all eager to tell their stories of the West. There is also the largest concrete buffalo statue shadowing the park (photo shown) and it can be seen quiet clearly from the interstate. If traveling through Jamestown, it is exit 258 on I-94 and I highly recommend this stop.
