....how did this trip come about, I hear you ask?

Ok, a quick stroll through our back story....

About 5 years ago, Tina and I took a trip to the Galapagos Islands for my 50th (I know I don't look that old, right?)

Whilst on the trip we met Sylvia and Jeff Wagner, who lived in Virgina at that time.

Jeff subsequently retired from his job (not on account of meeting us I should add) a few years later, and they bought some land in Montana and built a lovely new home.

Ok, clear so far?

Some time later, Tina and I were planning a road trip to Oregon and Washington and mentioned it to them. They asked if they could join us, and here we all are...

except....

this was supposed to happen last year, but then Jeff broke his leg quite badly, and was out of action for several weeks....so we postponed it to this year!

but it gets better (what!!)....

Also on the Galapagos trip (5 years ago , remember, keep up....),

we met Andy Hock and Teresa Segura, who live in Sunnyvale, California (no, not where Buffy lived, that was SunnyDALE, ..easy mistake though...)

They are going to be joining us in Oregon, for a few days, so that will be great!
