Hi di Hi losers, its another friendly update from your hero, monkeyjason (i can hear the cheers already)
 

After we left the others we drove to otago peninsular, we we could see seals, penguins and sea lions..... sorry where we are MEANT to see all of the above, but in reality saw none of those, we did how ever see the campsite's ginger kat (should of been called Nicky G). we cooked a phat roast beef dinner as they had a oven. one of the nights there we meet up with two crazy french dudes, they are funny man they french are all nuts. had a drunk night. then drove 4 hours to banks peninsular, where we DID see penguins, they where rear yellow eyed penguins (yellow eyed? sounds like Fred's gammy willy?) they rocked, but where small and we where up high, pic's didn't come out to well. we stayed there for a few days, filling our time with a few walks and a look at the cheese factory, we got cracked pepper cheese if you must know.
then off to Christchurch, stopping on the way at a tourist attraction called something boulders, over here they call the lamest things attractions, these boulders where a little lame but quite cool, have a look at the pics.
lamest attractions in New Zealand: 1) a 300,000 ton rock. 2) pancake rocks, they looked and smelled nothing like pancakes 3) anything to do with Lord of the rings..... computer's do a lot you know! dumb a$$.

anyway so that leaves us here in Christchurch, this is where we said our final good byes to the van that would never start in the morning. after a tearful fair well, we where back to walking everywhere and staying in hostels (we got a lush room) and im loving not having to wee in a Field int he middle of the night!
Christchurch is nice, small but nice, saw the art gallery today and wondered for the last few really. Friday (tom) we catch a plain to Auckland, where we stay for one night, then fly to Fiji for Saturday! FIJI is 30 degrees at the moment, i cant wait not to be dressed like a rather cool looking Eskimo!
