Easy Bummers,
well its been over a week now, and yes, we are still in San Pedro, as you may of guessed, we find somewhere cool and hippy and well....don't leave for ages.
This time we have an excuse though (well a better one what having dysentery and not leaving Goa for a whole month) Kat is doing a Spanish course again, 20 hours for 29 pounds one on one, that's bloody good. while she is doing that, I'm meant to be water skiing on the massive lake..... but so far have proved to be lazy and just read all day for 4 hours till she is done. didn't see that happening ay.
Friday night we went out with the 2 lords we meet in Mexico, got really drunk for the 1st time in ages, even got cut off from the bar. but I'm sue everyone liked my really drunk honest opinion of them, I'm not sure hippys like being called dirty, i always thought the grubbyer you are, the higher status you had . my mistake hippys. and now half of San Pedro think Rob is a homosexual homeless man from Manchester. sorry Rob.
The following day after the disgraceful bender (we still haven't gone back to the Buddha bar) we decided that the best cure for the hang over from hell, would be to go horse back riding in the mountains. what else........
i remembered one thing as we got to the mountains " DO NOT GO TREKKING ANYWHERE IN THE HILLS WITH OUT A ARMED GARD" that's what all the books/advice tells you anyway (78$ gets you a armed police escort, not bad)
but what the hell, we track on these almost dead hoses up to the hills, with stunning views of the lake, and shear drops down ones side, and a very clumsy horse beneath you, and a guide who might just kill you behind us. it was a wicked trek though, loved most of it, was in fear for all of it And we managed to get the things to gallop to, was bloody comedy, this horse chipping down the dirt track with us bouncing yelling and scared s***less the whole way! dumb Gringo!!!!!
i didn't/couldn't walk for 2 days. fun on horses = one sore ar$e, legs, back and neck.
Tonight is Friday, Kat doesn't have school tomorrow so we might head out to the reggae party, bring on the dub
on Monday we will Finlay leave here, i will Finlay get my ar$e in gear and water ski the lake, then we will go to play with little baby turtles by the sea ad its hatching time for them.
2 weeks, then I'm back in the UK.
word to your gringo selves
Jay
