Well, i said i was gonna update this everyweek and so far that promise has been mission impossible! I have been so busy recently and have had no time to do anything! Well i have another six weeks until i go and although much of my travel plans have been sorted the practicalaties are yet to be done. I have been a good monkey though and have made lots of lists! I have also arranged for a trip up to Newcastle a week on Sunday so i can get everything i require from backpacks to mosquito repellant and everyting in between. I have also managed to explain my trip to my Grandparents whom i think were quite frankly worried about me and they seem more at ease now which is brill! I have also been extra good and managed to get myself a little waitressing job at a new restaurant in town which, fingers crossed will help me raise a few extra spending pennies to waste in the casinos in Vegas!!!! All in all feeling pretty good and very excited! Me and Katie have been discussing our trips and our meeting up in Oz. We didnt know whether it would be really weird for us to pack our GHD's or not! and what clothes we would need to take. In the end we came to the conclusions that we have to have nice hair and instead of taking lots of clothes we will pack lots of accessories (well, a girl never knows when she will require them!!) After reading my travel book on Oz i became decideldly concerned about the tips on th animal and inspect species e.g. where you should be careful when going for a pee in case something bites you! OUCH! Well we decided to think about the scenarios: what would you prefer to bite you? A snake, a spider, a shark or a croc? well this led to many hysterics but seriously, i am not really sure!I also heard the kangaroos can give a mean punch too! Knowing my luck though its the first thing that will happen to me as i step off the plane! Either get bitten by a snake or beaten to death by a roo! (Watch this space!)
