So the last few days have been crazy! I have seen and done so much whilst in Hawaii that i'm actually going to bed at half nine at night! Such a wimp i know! Well just in case some of you were wondering what the heck my message is about....i'm now schedualed to get back home on the 5th July. I'm running out of money so ive cut down my time in Oz so that i can do everything i want to there in a shorter time and still be able to go to Asia. Perfect plan! Anyways Cat, i hope your still gonna be living at home then cos we got a summer of fun, fun, fun to look forward to now! Terrance, i know your going on holiday! Maybe i will come for the weekend ahahahaha! So yesterday i went on a ten mile hike up one of the Volcanoes. There is actually three out of five volcanoes on this island that are active with one still errupting! We went down into lava tubes (big tunnels that were formed by flowing lava!duh!) walked through rainforests, hiked over lava fields, watched the lava entering the sea (day and night!) we watched the sunset here it was awesome. The lights and explosions were amazing! We stood over natural steam vents in the side of the volcano, looked into craters and breathed in sulphuric acid (always fun!) really weird sensation though and it was strange to see where it was coming out of the crater. I got some great pics so i will post them as soon a i get chance. Well the main part of our hike was like doing the stairmaster for five hours! Tiring but well worth it when we got to our destiantion! Knees held up too! Infact i havent had one slight murmour from my knees since being away so i think the pain in tehm is definately psychological! (some of you will know what i'm talking about!) Unfortunately it was dark on the way back so slightly scary and very very dangerous but the adrenalin rush was cool! haha! Unfortunately though i was bitten by a poisoinous centipede (just inside my left leg!) stung like a beeeeach but they had some stuff to put on it. Luckily it wasnt a small one because you have to go straight to hospital with those ones but they said i should see what i look like in the morning. When we got back my left arm had swollen slightly and a nasty rash had appeared (allergic reaction) so i went to bed with an ice pack. Anyways, this morning i couldnt hardly bend my arm and i had a nice little lump to accompany my spreading rash! Oops! So they gave me some tablets and some cream in the hope that i wouldnt have to go to the clinic. But luckily!!! Its not as bad now! Only two bites and a lovely rash to look at! Apparently i'm the first person on one of there tours to actually be bitten by the lava centipede! Go me!! Flippin typical! My whole trip i havent been bitten once! Well actually i'm lying. I was eaten alive in Yosemite but no bumps came up! Everyone else looked like they had chicken pocs! GUTTED! but i was fine. But for some reason things in Hawaii like to eat me. The first night here something decided to bite my ankle about 10 times and work its way up my leg a few times and then find a nice bit of flesh on my arm to feast upon! Maybe hawaiian creatures are different to other ones elsewear! I also found out yesterday that the place i went for thanksgiving dinner is actually a famous cafe called Kens House of Pancakes. Its famous because it owned by the Rock (wrestler!) and his family still runs it. Its where he worked when he was younger and thats how he got the saying "can you smell what the rock is cooking" So pretty coooolio huh! So today i soothed my legs, soothed my arm and soothed my hamster cheek (ULCER) lack of sleep i think! Felt like id been beaten up and i felt quite sorry for myself earlier. Boo Hoo! haah Tom would say "it sounds like my goldfish died!" haha! Thanks for that hun it makes me chuckle everytime you say it! So tonight i took the flight to the Island of Maui. I'm going snorkelling and swimming with turtles tommorrow. Another free trip and luckily one of the things i came to the island to do so i'm sorted! On friday i'm not sure whether to do the bike ride down the volcano or the whale watching and swimming with dolphins trip (might not be any whales though) and there may be dolphins tommorrow so i will wait and see! Decide tommorrow! I'm levaing here late friday night to go back to Honolulu for my final night before my flight to Sydney. Somehow i lose a whold day! Where does that day go when its only a 10 hour flight! Crazy stuff! Well i got loads of pics so i will try upload tommorrow when i wake up! In case some of you are wondering! I'm meeting owens in sydney on the 4th June so i will have some quality time with her before flying to Hong Kong. Its worked out so much better so i'm glad ive changed it! Some moments i really feel like ive hard enough! Theres so much to see and tak in that i'm gonna have to have another holiday to recover haha! Well the lake district with thomas anyways! Cant wait! So i will speak to you all soon cos i'm being kicked out of the free internet room. Its a good thing really cos the computer keeps electricuting me! Something terribly wrong with that!
