Ko Phagnan: Made my way to the island of Ko Phagnan by bus. This was the longest bus ride ever to get through Malaysia & into Thailand. It was slowed down by the many stops for the highway police & was overloaded by a bunch of extra people sitting on rubbermaid stools in the aisle of this overnight bus. Enough to say, we didn't get much sleep. We finally made it to the island where we had a tough time finding accomodations despite coming 2 days early for the famous full-moon party. We spent most of the day lazing in hammocks or on the beach; however swimming was not much of an option because of the coral. The pool party & full-moon party were definately interesting to see and experience!!

Ko Tao: I then ventured off to Ko Tao where I did a bit more scuba diving & beaching. Nice island but unfortunately I didn't find the key areas or better dive centres until I already had my boat/train out as I'm eager to move on to Northern Thailand but may return for more beaches after the rest of the Asia tour.
