Kuleli Military High School is the oldest military high school in Turkey. It was founded on 21 September 1845, by Ottoman Sultan Abdülmecid I. First built and used as a cavalry barracks 1828-37. it was turned into a quarantine station in 1837 to prevent the plague.students of the Military Medical School were provided with practical diagnosis and treatment training in the quarantine stationThe Kuleli Cavalry Barracks was turned into an educational institution after the Dersaadet Military High School, which was founded in 1845, was moved there in 1872.
