Yesilyurt
Yesilyurt village was formed after 1453, and is a village where nomads from the Çepni tribe, who built the navy of Mehmet the Conqueror that conquered Istanbul, settled and took root. In the following centuries, Greeks who were Ottoman subjects also settled .During the population exchange of 1924, half of the village (Greeks) had to migrate to Lesbos, but no one migrated to the village from the Greek mainland and islands, because those who came from there were forced to settle in Küçükkuyu
