Located in the ancient city of Per Sobek is the temple of Kom Ombo, also known as House of the Crocodile and the Castle of the Falcon. It is unique in Egypt, dedicated to two gods, Sobek, the ancient crocodile god (left half of the temple) and Harwer (Horus the Elder), a falcon god (right half of the temple)
