Calcified hyena poop Okavango delta
Hyenas are capable of ingesting bones, horns, hooves, and tough animal skins. Only hair is not digested and is usually excreted as a bolus or hyena hair ball. Human hair has been found in pre-historic hyena feces. All the bone they eat makes their feces chalk-white. It can be used as chalk.
