Iglesia (Church) of Santa Maria la Encarnación le Mayo was built on the site of the former mosque of Ronda. Work began in 1485 and was finally completed in the late 17th century. An earthquake in 1850 unfortunately destroyed part of the original construction and reconstruction works had to be carried out. It is located at Plaza Duquesa de Parcent
