Bilbao Central post office building
The Post Office was the work of Secundino Zuazo, who built it in 1927, taking references from different styles. From the outset, it was inspired by the Dutch school of architecture when opting for brick in its elegant, functional façade. On the other hand, the roof clearly looks to a mountain style. And its baroque entrance, dominated by a large coat of arms with two-headed eagles, seems straight out of the era of the Habsburgs.
