Sculpture created by Jewish thinker Salomon ben Gabirol born in Malaga (1021-1058). He was one of the most learned Spanish Jews of the Middle Ages. He had confrontations with his peers and in 1045 was expelled from the Hebrew community of Zaragoza, another city in Spain. He wrote two famous essays in Arabic.
