Iglesia del Convento de San JoseThe church was built in 1615.In 1810, during the French invasion of Seville , the convent was dispossessed, the altarpieces were destroyed and many works of art were looted. The friars were able to return in 1814 and undertook repair work, which was completed in 1818. In 1835 it was confiscated. The church remained open to the public for a time under the care of a chaplain. The convent was used as a tenement house and a hat factory.
