Under the parasols is an elevated, shady, open-air plaza (Plaza Mayor) designed to host events of different types. At ground level is the current Mercado de la Encarnación, along with retail and restaurant space. Finally, the basement houses the Antiquarium museum, which exhibits the archaeological remains found on the site.
