At the beginning of the 13th century, in 1230, the church of San Lorenzo was built. It had a double religious and military objective, remained standing for several centuries, with slight modifications. The current church, in neoclassical style, was built in the 18th century to replace the dilapidated original temple, of which only one of the defensive towers remained, which is still standing today.
