Belvedere Palace
Belvedere Palace - History of this building goes back to the 17th century. In the time of Stanislaw August it was a porcelain and faience (glazed ceramic ware) factory.On 29th November 1830 this palace was attacked by Polish officers and students and November Insurrection began. The prince escaped dressed as a woman. In 1919 the palace was home to Marshal Jozef Pilsudski and then became the residence of Polish Presidents until 1994.
