Krasinski Palace
The palace was built in 1677–83 for Jan Krasinski who had political ambitions. Mr Krasinki knew the French culture, and he was clearly interested in art so that this building was created by the most outstanding artists staying in Poland. The palace was burned down and demolished by the Germans during World War II. It was later rebuilt. Today it is a part of the Polish National Library's Special Collections Section
