Makrisz Agamemnon (1913-1993) was a Hangarian sculptor originally from Greece. trained at the fine arts school in Athens. He fought in the Greek Civil War. In 1945, he went to Paris He could not return to his country for political reasons. He then settled in Hungary in 1950. Makrisz produced portrait statues, monuments, and architectural decoration and organized exhibitions. He was deprived of his Greek nationality in 1964 which was returned in 1975 .
