Bolungarvik
Bolungarvík is close to abundant fishing grounds and has been used as an outpost for fishing since the 17th century, making it one of the earliest in Iceland. It is the northernmost village in the Westfjords and is the second-largest town in the Westfjords, as well as being its second-largest municipality, with around 950 people.
