Wroclaw Stare Jatki
Old Town Wroclaw's shortest (1 block) street.This is one end. Originally, Stare Jatki was an alley formed by two rows of slaughter shops. The street consisted originally of 42 wooden, single-storey buildings and since 1350 there have been 48 of them; 24 stalls on each side of the alley.During World War II, Stare Jatki was partially destroyed (12 buildings survived). In 1951, tenement houses were rebuilt; At the end of the twentieth century, Stare Jatki housed art studios and galleries.
