Torun Leaning Tower
It is known as a leaning tower because the top of the tower is displaced 1.5 metres from where it would be if the tower were perfectly vertical. It was built as a part of the city walls at the turn of the 14th century clearly as a straight tower. It leant as early as the Middle Ages presumably due to the instability of the ground and has been stable ever since.
