Gdansk Neptune Fountain in front of Artus Court, ul. Dluga
Legend has it that the fountain once gushed forth with the liquor for which Gdansk is famous, Goldwasser. The fountian was build 1606-13. It is the oldest secular monument in Poland. The building behind, Artus Court, used to be the meeting place of merchants and a centre of social life. Today it is a point of interest of numerous visitors and a branch of the Gdańsk History Museum.
