With some free time, I went to the national park for a walk. I was walking down the road, no people or vehicles around, and passed a group of macaques on the ground. I kept my distance, knowing they could be aggressive. I reached into my shoulder bag and pulled our a plastic bag containing some insect repellant. This character ran to me, jumped up and dug his claws into my bag and was hanging there. I swung the bag back and forth to get him off, not wanting to be scratched or bitten. After a few swings, he reached up and grabbed the plastic bag and jumped down and ran. I ran after making some noise. After about 10-12 feet, he dropped the bag and I retrieved it. No harm done, but for a moment there, being aloe, I was scared.
