Rai Bahadur Raghuvar Singh Bhadauria, Deewan of Bikaner 1890-1910, grandfather of our host. Bahadur (Bhadawar) is the name of the princely state. Bhadauria is the name of the dynasty. Thakur of Bidhupura, born 12th October 1855, besides holding a prominent position in Bhadawar state, he joined Rewah Durbar in 1875 and went on to be a Naib Dewan of Rewah state, later in 1896 he was brought in as a senior member of the Regency Council of Bikaner state, he further became a Revenue Member of the Council; he was conferred with the tittle of Rao Bahadur as a personal distinction; married 1stly, a daughter of Thakur Madan Singh Rathore, married 2ndly, a daughter of Thakur Lakshman Singh Chauhan, married 3rdly, a daughter of Rambaksh Singh Kachwaha, and had issue, one son and one daughter.
