Just off the Route 62, and roughly half-way between Ladismith and Calitzdorp in the Little Karoo, you will find the Hoeko Valley. This valley is one of the most fertile fruit-producing areas in the whole of the Western Cape, almost a third of South Africa’s total apricot export comes from this valley. The farms located in this valley also produce plums, peaches and grapes.
