Isaac Abarbanel (1437-1508) Moses Montefiore (1784-1885) Isaac Cremieux (1796-1880) Edward Rothschild (1845-1934) Baron Maurice de Hirsch ( 1831-1896) The first private Museum of Jewish History has opened in Moscow. The museum's collection covers more than 200 years of the history of Jewish life in Russia from the late 18th century through to the late-Soviet period. The founder of the museum, Sergey Ustinov, vice-president of the Russian Jewish Congress, has sponsored the creation of the Jewish History Museum in Moscow.
