This work reflects the thoughts of millions of Russians now living in the post-Soviet era. in this work we feel the pain and anger of the artist, our contemporary, who with unflinching courage has brought together on one canvas the entire nightmare of the turbulent late twentieth century. But despite everything, there is a shining ray of hope and faith in Russia’s approaching renaissance.
